Easy to install
Easy to install
I installed these speakers in the factory door locations in a 2003 Chevy S10 regular cab. I installed a pair of Timpano TPT-ST2 super tweeters in dash 4x6 locations. The sound imaging from this setup is incredible! Better than I could have ever imagined. I am running a kicker comp 10” shallow sub behind the seat and have the midrange crossed over at 100hz and the tweeters at 6khz. I am feeding them about 150W RMS each and it is louder than I can handle when cranked up. They are crystal clear and very accurate even at ear bleeding volume levels. These will be my go to 6.5’s from now on.

I really like these speakers. I ran these without a crossover, so the sound you hear is full range. They sound very clear and live, I'm a detail junky so I like to hear everything in the music and these play into that nicely. The fit and finish on these are exceptional, no stray glue or out of position looking anywhere. The metal basket is made of hard metal, it doesn't bend even on the lip where the screws go in, very strong. This is my first experience with a double surround speaker, the sound was tight and clear.I am very happy with these.
